BIOGRAPHICAL OVERVIEW Dan Lantz has a finance and general management career spanning fifteen years. He started his career at GMAC providing working capital, real estate, and equipment loans to automobile dealerships. Given the up and down nature of the car business, Dan cut his teeth on determining capital needs for growth and managing low cash positions and limited working capital situations early. After attending business school and receiving his MBA from Duke University, Dan joined Giuliani Capital Advisors, a 150 professional boutique investment bank (since acquired by Macquarie Securities (USA) Inc.). Dan spent over four years there, initially as an associate and later as a vice president, providing financial advisory to companies, banks and creditors' committees on restructuring, capital raising, and mergers. Subsequent to his career at Giuliani, Dan joined Naked Juice Company in a short-term role to assist management in its efforts to sell the company. Here Dan worked with a strong CFO and finance team to analyze drive changes in the sales and operations that supported the story reflected in the forecast financial statements. Naked Juice was successfully sold to PepsiCo less than a year later. See additional detail on Dan's experience at Naked Juice, at Giuliani Capital Advisors, and at GMAC. |
